Imagine Peace
“Imagine Peace” is a conceptual artwork consisting of three key elements:
-
An image that sharply illustrates a major cognitive error: you have to decide which side of violence you are on — and at the same time, it hints at a possible answer to rising global conflicts. Imagine the rifle pointing not just at your enemies, but at your loved ones. Peace suddenly feels urgent.
-
A new exhibition space:
The artwork is not shown in traditional galleries, but placed exactly where peace demonstrations should be happening –
in public spaces where people pass by silently, absent and disconnected, drifting through their digital bubbles and past the pressing questions of our time.
On the street, on the train, in everyday life. -
A social approach:
The image is given for free to beggars, who resell it for small change.
A shift from begging to offering.
The street becomes a gallery, and beggars become gallerists and quiet messengers of peace.
